Jim MAynard
Senior Pastor
Jim is a faithful leader, devoted husband, and loving father. He and his wife, Nancy, are passionate about seeing lives transformed through the power of Jesus Christ. After a career in retail sales, management and logistics, he transitioned to full-time ministry. Licensed and ordained by the ICFG, he began his ministry career in WV serving as Associate Pastor, Executive Pastor, and Interim Senior Pastor. He has served as Senior Pastor of CPC since July of 2017.

Our Church Partners
Compass Point Chapel passionately serves by volunteering our time and resources to these three organizations. Each organization serves the Akron area bringing hope and restoration to the city. Akron Dream Center supports Wilbeth Arlington homes in Akron by giving meals to the families within that community while also building relationships with the residents. RAHAB is a ministry of hope to women in the Akron area who are caught in the sex trafficking industry. Akron Pregnancy Services gives free pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, diapers, clothes, and more to women in the Akron area. They give women and young mothers resources to help them support and raise their families.
